Tanjin Tisha honoured with Women of Inspiration Award
Tanjin Tisha has been rulling over television with her exceptional choice of projects and women centric roles which has touched the hearts of her millions of followers.
Recently, the actress was recognised for her efforts at the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh Award in the Women in Media category. The award ceremony was held at Hotel Sheraton in Dhaka on Saturday.
The actress shared the news on her Facebook yesterday, along with pictures of the award, captioning, "Thanks to JCI Bangladesh for organising this wonderful event. It's an honour to get an award from our honourable Ministry of Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni."
Tanjin Tisha extended her gratitude to the board members of JCI Bangladesh, the event director Tasnuva Ahmed and the organisers for selecting her for the award.
During the event, renowned actress Dilara Zaman was honoured with Liftetime Achievement Award.
JCI Bangladesh is a nonprofit global organisation that empowers and encourages the youth of the nation to take an active part in helping fellow entrepreneurs and professionals of their own communities to thrive and be successful.
Based on this concept, JCI recognised the achievements and efforts of 12 inspiring women with the fifth edition of Women of Inspiration 2023 Award. Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni was present as the chief guest at the programme and handed over the award to the recipients.
Swedish Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexandra Berg von Linde and Corinne Henchoz Pignani, deputy head of Cooperation, Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh, were present as special guests at the event.
Among other awardees, Munzereen Shahid received award in Education category, Rupna Chakma in Sports, Saraban Tahura Turin in ICT, Shabnam Wazed in Aspiring Leader, Sadia Haque in Start-up, Farha Naz Zaman in Corporate Leadership, Fadiah Khan in Business, Nurun Nahar Begum in Banking, Rokeya Sultana in Art & Literature, Prof Dr Sayeba Akhter in Medical Innovation categories.
