Ayub Bachchu’s unreleased melodies to echo once more

In honour of the late rock legend Ayub Bachchu, the Ayub Bachchu Foundation is set to release a treasure trove of unreleased songs by the iconic artiste. These songs, carefully preserved by the foundation, will finally see the light of day, as they plan to share those with the audience starting next year.

Ayub Bachchu, renowned for his electrifying performances and timeless hits, had the habit of continuously recording new songs during his lifetime. However, due to various reasons, several of these creations remained unreleased. Some songs were left in the compositional phase, while others were waiting to be mixed and recorded. The Ayub Bachchu Foundation is determined to release these hidden gems, ensuring they reach his devoted fanbase.

Niaz Ahmed Aungshu, lyricist and member of the foundation, expressed their dedication to preserving Ayub Bachchu's musical legacy, saying, "Our plan to publish the unreleased songs has been ongoing for a long while. We are taking the time to perfect the expression of these songs. Bachchu Bhai was always very meticulous about his music, and we want to release these songs with the same level of care."

Ayub Bachchu was not only known for his work with the band LRB but also for his collaborations with various lyricists and composers. The foundation has extended an invitation to anyone holding unreleased songs or tunes from Ayub Bachchu to contribute to this remarkable project.

Over the past two years, the Ayub Bachchu Foundation has diligently preserved the late artiste's intellectual property, creating a digital archive and organising a range of events to commemorate his birth and death anniversaries.

Ayub Bachchu's untimely demise on October 18, 2018, left a void in the music industry and the hearts of countless fans. Born in Chattogram on August 16, 1962, he was not only a rock guitarist but also a composer, singer, and songwriter. As the founder of the Bangladeshi rock band LRB, he gifted music enthusiasts with timeless classics such as "Cholo Bodle Jai", "Keu Shukhi Noy", "Bangladesh", "Ei Rupali Guitar Fele" and many more.
