SRK creates history, becomes only Indian actor to shatter Rs 1,000 crore mark twice
It's official, Shah Rukh Khan's action-packed drama "Jawan" has officially entered the Rs 1,000 crores mark at the worldwide box office within just 18 days of its release.
SRK has officially created history by becoming the only Indian actor to shatter the 1000 crore mark twice, in a calendar year, at the box office.
Red Chillies Entertainment, the film's production house, published the film's latest collection on X. "Handsome and Awesome blockbuster Rs 1004.92 crore worldwide gross box office collection," read their post.
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 15 crore in India net over all languages on its eighteenth day, increasing the total domestic collection to Rs 560.83 crore. On Sunday, "Jawan" had a 33.64 percent Hindi occupancy.
"Jawan" was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu around the world on September 7.
The movie describes "the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in society". It stars Shah Rukh Khan as both, Vikram Rathore and his son Azad.
"Jawan" also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, with Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt making cameos.
