Badrul Anam Saud's ‘Shyama Kabya’ to premiere in Paris
Badrul Anam Saud's "Shyama Kabya" first look was released yesterday. The government-granted film for the fiscal year 2019-2020 is slated to be released in theaters in November.
Prior to its release in Bangladesh, the film will be premiered at Paris' Gange Sur Seine Film Festival. The four-day-long festival will kick off on October 5 and the event will highlight South Asian films. "Shyama Kabya" will be screened on the last day of the festival on October 8 at 4 pm local time.
"Shyama Kabya" is a psychological film about a college teacher who lives alone. His childhood was left strained by some traumatic incidents. However, he falls in love with a beautiful girl and gets married. Pretty soon, tension starts to build up in their marriage.
Shohel Mondol and Neelanjona Neela play the central characters in the film. The movie also stars Intekhab Dinar, and A K Azad Shetu, amongst others.
Apart from directing the film, Badrul Anam Saud has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for "Shyama Kabya". The film has been jointly produced by Suborna Mustafa and Badrul Anam Saud.
