Singer Shithi Saha suffering from cancer, gives birth

Popular Bangladeshi singer Shithi Saha has embraced motherhood while battling cancer. In 2022, she was diagnosed with breast cancer but decided to leave her footprints through motherhood before the disease could dim her light. 

Finally, on September 19, Shithi welcomed her baby girl, Samara Joey, at Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand. This heartwarming news was shared by Shithi herself on Facebook yesterday, and she expressed her gratitude for the well-wishes and prayers.

Shithi opened up about her journey, stating, "Last year, I received the life-altering news that I had breast cancer. Throughout my ongoing treatment, I had a persistent thought – to leave a mark on this beautiful world before cancer could defeat me. It was from this determination that the idea of becoming a mother blossomed."

Despite the challenges and uncertainties posed by her health, Shithi overcame the hardship and brought her daughter into the world. She now looks forward to returning to Bangladesh with her child next November and plans to resume her music career by December.
