Netherlands ask Pakistan to bat
Surprise qualifiers Netherlands have won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first in the second match of the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup in Hyderabad on Friday.
Netherlands skipper Scott Edwards said at the toss that batting might get easier under lights later on. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam, on the other hand, said they were looking at a score of around 290 to 300+ on this pitch.
Netherlands have never beaten Pakistan in a this format in their six previous meetings. However, having qualified to the World Cup at the expense of teams like West Indies and Zimbabwe, the Dutch can certainly dream big.
