Photocard with Mirza Fakhrul's comment on Palestine is fake

A fake photocard with the logo of The Daily Star is being circulated from multiple Facebook pages, personal profiles, and groups.

On October 8, a page named "Take Back Bangladesh" posted the photo card, which reads, "After the meeting with the US Ambassador to Dhaka Peter Haas, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that demanding peace in Palestine is not on our agenda, all our attention is on the one-point demand movement."

Searching on Google, we found no statement of Mirza Fakhrul Islam similar to the fake photocard in any media outlets and no news of Mirza Fakhrul's meeting with US Ambassador Peter Haas on October 8. 

The Daily Star is also confirming that we did not create or post any photo card with any such quote.
