Rohit fined for speeding on his way to Bangladesh-India match
Indian captain Rohit Sharma was fined for exceeding the speed limit on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on his way to join his team ahead of the ICC World Cup match between India and Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium today.
According to the report from Times of India, Rohit has been handed three traffic challans for speeding.
The Indian captain was at times driving his blue Lamborghini at a speed of 215 kmph, well over the speed limit, as per sources within the local traffic department.
Earlier on Wednesday, Rohit had arrived at the same venue for the Indian team's practice session also on his Lamborghini, which he drove himself.
