Pori Moni replaces Mahiya Mahi in ‘Kagojer Bou’

This film is the second cinematic collaboration between DA Tayeb and Pori Moni following their successful appearance together in the film "Shona Bondhu". 

Directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, Pori Moni takes on the role of a wealthy young woman entangled in a complex marriage with a less privileged man. The storyline delves into her character's struggles in a challenging marriage, characterised by her mistreatment and various forms of psychological abuse inflicted upon her husband.

Produced under the banner of SG Production, "Kagojer Bou" marks the second collaboration between director Chayanika and Pori Moni. "Bishwoshundori", co-starring Siam Ahmed, marked Chayanika's directorial debut on the silver screen in 2020.
