'My father complained that I don't dedicate awards to him, so this is for him'
The incredibly talented Mehazabien Chowdhury won the hearts of audiences with her fantastic debut in OTT with Vicky Zahed's "Redrum."
On Saturday, Blenders Choice- The Daily Star OTT and Digital Content Awards took place, where the glamourous actress won the Best Actor (female) in the popular category for her stellar performance in the Chorki web-film "Redrum".

This year has been an incredibly wonderful year for the versatile actress who has won a series of awards for her performance in "Punorjonmo." In those award ceremonies, she dedicated the award to her mother. However, she made an exception at Blenders Choice- The Daily Star OTT and Digital Content Awards, where she dedicated her award to a special person.
"I am incredibly honoured to receive this award for my debut OTT project 'Redrum.' I couldn't have asked for a better project to venture into the world of OTT. Usually, I dedicate the award to my mother. However, I want to dedicate this special award to my father, who has always supported me and encouraged me to give my best," said the actress.
Apart from "Redrum", Mehazabien Chowdhury was also nominated for Best Actor (female) for Ashfaque Nipun's "Sabrina."
