The capital’s Dholaikhal, which has been in a sorry state for years, is going to change. Dhaka South City Corporation has taken up a project to build two amphitheatres, walkways, bicycle lanes, and improve the waterbody on five acres.

Seasonal fruits, mostly mangoes, grown on the hills are being sold on boats in Banarupa area of Rangamati. In several districts in the region, there is a niche market for fruits and vegetables that indigenous communities of the hills grow. The photo was taken last week.
