Former state minister for posts, telecommunications and information technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak was stopped at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while attempting to flee the country.

An airport official told The Daily Star that HSIA authorities are keeping him at the airport, and have informed the army about it. 

The official said Palak was trying to go to New Delhi when the airport staffers and workers stopped him.
