Following the opening of the Dengue Ward at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital on Wednesday, more and more patients have started filling up the beds in both the male and female wards. According to the DGHS, the number of dengue cases is rising, with this year’s death rate standing at 0.61 percent, compared to 0.5 in 2023.
