Korean star Song Jae-rim passes away at 39
South Korean actor Song Jae-rim was found dead in his Seoul residence. He was 39 years old.
Authorities reportedly discovered a two-page note at the scene, along with the body, on November 12, prompting questions about the circumstances surrounding his passing.
Originally a model, Song transitioned into acting and gained recognition for his roles in dramas like "Moon Embracing the Sun" (2012), "Two Weeks" (2013), and "Our Gap-soon" (2016–2017).
According to reports from Xportnews, a funeral for Song Jae-rim is scheduled for November 14 at the Funeral Hall of Yeouido St Mary's Hospital.

Song Jae-rim began his career as a runway model, collaborating with renowned designers like Juun J, Herin Homme, and Ha Sang Beg. His success in modeling led him to appear in prestigious publications, including "Bazaar Korea", "Vogue Girl Korea", and "GQ Korea".
Transitioning to acting in 2009, he quickly gained attention for his roles in popular dramas such as "Clean with Passion for Now" (2018) and "I Wanna Hear Your Song" (2019).
His appearance in the fourth season of "We Got Married" with actress Kim So-eun further amplified his fame and endeared him to a broader audience.
In 2024, Song Jae-rim portrayed Go Pae-eui, the first prince, in the drama "Queen Woo". He also starred in "My Military Valentine" as Song Jae-hun, a character belonging to an anti-unification group.
