ACC restructuring near completion: Yunus
Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus today said the restructuring of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is nearing completion.
"We are committed not only to the judiciary but also to protecting all sectors of the country from the pervasive threat of corruption. The process of restructuring the Anti-Corruption Commission is almost in its final stages," he said.

The chief adviser made the remarks during his speech to the nation, highlighting the government's commitment to tackling corruption across all sectors.
"The Supreme Judicial Council has been reinstated to ensure systematic disciplinary action against judges," he added.
He further said that a list of 150 influential individuals accused of corruption and money laundering has been compiled and investigations are currently underway against 79 individuals.
Additionally, he announced the abolition of the provision allowing the legalisation of undisclosed assets, referred to as "black money", through a 15 percent income tax payment.
