Bangladesh recall Jahanara, Supta for Ireland ODIs
Pacer Jahanara Alam returned to the 50-over fold after an 18-month hiatus as the Bangladesh Cricket Board announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Ireland, starting on November 27
Opener Sharmin Akter Supta also returned to the side for the first time since July last year and uncapped left-arm spinner Shanjida Akther Maghla and top-order batter Tej Nahar were picked.
Disha Biswas, Sumaiya Akter, Nishita Akter Nishi and Farzana Hoque Lisa, who were part of Bangladesh's last ODI series squad against Australia in March earlier this year, were dropped.
The three ODIs will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on November 27, 30 and December 2.
The action will then shift to the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet which will host three T20Is on December 5, 7 and 9.
The Ireland women's team will arrive in Dhaka on November 22.
