Medicine prices may spike for sectoral challenges, not for LDC graduation: study
Medicine prices will not rise because of Bangladesh's graduation to a developing nation in 2026, rather structural challenges in the health sector and rising energy costs may leave an impact on it, a study found.
Mohammad Abdur Razzaque, chairman of the Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID), shared the findings of the study conducted by his organisation, at a seminar at the Sheraton Dhaka in the capital today.
Drug manufacturers, exporters, researchers and experts attended the seminar.
