Yesterday, the actress shared couple of pictures from the event which took place at the award ceremony. Jaya Ahsan posted a caption while sharing those pictures, "I try to represent the culture I am from with my style statement; it's important to me as an artist. Dhakai Jamdani is a staple for me, and this time, I wanted to break the pattern in how the jamdani saree is presented, and there is no place better than Filmfare to do this. It is such a privilege to have this opportunity to meet all the artists across this globe; thank you, Filmfare, again," said the actress.

The "Kadak Singh" actress then went on to describe the intricate details as to how long the dress took to make. "Jamdani is derived from the Persian word "jam" (meaning floral), and 'Dani' is a vase or container named after decorative floral patterns found in Dhakai Muslin. This saree took around six months to finish, and it was beautifully crafted. Stylied in a contemporary way to show more power and confidence as well. Reimagined artwork was inspired by old warrior queens painting," added the actress.
