Mousumi Hamid's latest film, "Noya Manush", has recently been released. Directed by Sohel Rana Boyati, the movie is being screened in theatres across Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh.

Mousumi has personally visited several cinemas to watch "Noya Manush" and interact with audiences. She shared her thoughts on the film, saying, "'Noya Manush' is a story-driven film. It delves into life's narratives and provides a deeper understanding of it. It tells the tales of marginalised communities."

She added, "I've visited multiple halls and watched the film myself. I've observed the audience's reactions up close. Many viewers left the halls in tears; the film touched their emotions deeply. Their feedback has been heartening."

Reflecting on her own experience, the actress noted, "Seeing yourself on the big screen is always significant for any artiste. It's a great feeling for me as well."

Speaking about  Sohel Rana Boyati, the director of the film, she remarked, "The director truly loves cinema. His passion for filmmaking is commendable."

On her co-actor Rawnak Hasan, the actress said, "Rawnak bhai is an extremely talented actor. He has performed exceptionally well in this project, and his work will be remembered by the audience."

Answering a question about the challenges faced during the shoot, she explained, "The filming of this project was tough for the entire team. We shot in remote char areas, adapting to the local environment and blending with the community."

She elaborated, "I had to visit the char areas multiple times for the shoot. It was a challenging role but a rewarding experience that added to my personal growth. I also had the opportunity to witness the lives of char residents up close. They are wonderful people who embraced us warmly during the shoot. Their memories will stay with me for a long time."

Currently, Mousumi Hamid is busy shooting for a new television series. She mentioned, "I'll begin working on a new series next month."

Recently, she completed filming a new musical film in Bandarban and Cox's Bazar, directed by Tasnova Tabassum Atoshi. The title of the film is yet to be finalised.

In addition to her work in cinema, Mousumi has also appeared in numerous OTT projects, many of which have been well-received by audiences. She shared, "There are possibilities for new projects in OTT soon. I'm hopeful about delivering some great content."
