Sharmin Zoha Shoshee, widely recognised for her portrayal of Tuni in the film "Hajar Bochor Dhore" alongside Riaz, has tied the knot with her beau, Khalid Hossain Ovi, in an intimate wedding ceremony.

Confirming the news to The Daily Star, Shoshee shared, "We have known each other for some time and stayed in touch over the years. A few months ago, we decided to get married, and on December 16, we finally sealed our union forever."

The actress announced her marriage through a heartfelt social media post yesterday, stating, "Alhamdulillah, we are married! What started as a beautiful friendship during our 'Reply 1988' journey has now turned into a lifelong commitment. With the blessings of our families, we have started this new chapter of life together through a small, intimate ceremony. Your love and prayers mean so much to us. Please keep us in your duas."

The couple's journey began a year and a half ago when they met during the dubbing of a Korean drama. Khalid Hossain, who was directing the dubbing for SRK Studio, invited Shoshee to participate in the project. Their first meeting, during the dubbing of the series "Reply 1988", marked the start of a connection that blossomed into love and eventually culminated in marriage.
