Women labourers drying recently harvested Aman paddy in Ghona Madardanga area of Khulna’s Dumuria upazila. After harvest, farmers sell the paddy for Tk 1,100-1,300 to traders, who process it by drying and then send it to different parts of the country. The photo was taken recently.
