Towards the end of 2024, "Priyo Maloti" was released in theatres. The film received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics. It even secured the second position on Star Cineplex's list of top films.

Starting today, the number of shows for the film has been doubled, as confirmed by Star Cineplex authorities. While the film was previously screened in eight shows across the five branches of Cineplex, it will now have 16 daily shows.

Mehazabien Chowdhury confirmed this news to The Daily Star. She said, "Two weeks after its release, the number of shows has increased. This is such a joy! It's wonderful news, and I'm delighted to know about this."

She added, "I didn't expect to receive such a positive response. I had the chance to witness the audience's reactions up close. The things they said have left me deeply grateful. I can't express my gratitude enough. I am immensely thankful to everyone. I anticipated some feedback, but not to this extent. Everyone is overwhelmingly positive about 'Priyo Maloti'."

The actress further added, "Just as the artistes have given positive feedback, the audience, too, has shared encouraging remarks. They have showered it with praise. As my first film, I am truly happy."

The actress visited cinemas as well as educational institutions, and her efforts to promote the film are still ongoing.

Even today, two weeks after the film's release, Mehazabien will visit a cinema hall in the capital. She said, "I have a few more plans to visit theatres. I hope the whole team will join me. In line with this, I will also attend a screening at a theatre tonight."

When asked which co-actor's feedback touched her the most, Mehazabien replied, "Not any single one; everyone's feedback moved me. Every comment touched my heart. I am overwhelmed by their love and will cherish it forever."

Among the theatres, the Bashundhara branch of Star Cineplex will host two shows, while the Bali Arcade branch in Chattogram and the SKS Tower branch in Mohakhali will also run two shows each. The Sony Square branch in Mirpur will increase to four shows, while the Military Museum and Shimanto Shambhar branches will host three shows each.
