ACC files recruitment corruption case against Taqsem, nine others
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against Taqsem A Khan, former managing director of Dhaka WASA, and nine others for allegedly appointing two officials illegally in positions that were not sanctioned.
ACC Director General Akhter Hossain disclosed the development to journalists this afternoon.
The other accused include Dhaka WASA Board Chairman Habibur Rahman, retired Additional Secretary Sudhangshu Shekhar Biswas, FCA Vice President Md Mahmud Hossain, Institution of Engineers Bangladesh representative Engineer Md Nuruzzaman, former President of the Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh Engineer AKM Hamid, former DNCC Councilor Aleya Sarwar Daisy, and former DSCC Councilor Md Hasibur Rahman Manik.
