Dhaka stocks decline in early trade

Stocks dropped marginally in the morning trade today, snapping this week's three-day gaining streak. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 5.09 points or 0.09 percent to 5,197.51 as of 11:38 am. 

Around 123 issues advanced, 162 declined, and 100 remained unchanged, showing profit booking by a section of investors.

Total turnover stood at Tk 151.54 crore. 

Shares of Bangas surged the highest 10 percent, while shares of Khulna Printing & Packaging dropped 7 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.04 percent, gaining 6.19 points to 14,517.72.
