Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the title of his son Aryan Khan's directorial debut at the Next on Netflix event in Mumbai, yesterday. The upcoming series, titled "The Ba*ds of Bollywood", is set to premiere on Netflix later this year.

Unlike most other projects revealed at the event, the creators of "The Ba*ds of Bollywood" have kept the list of cast members under wraps. Instead, they released a title announcement video featuring Shah Rukh and Aryan, where the latter confidently acknowledges his father's influence in the industry.

Produced by Gauri Khan, the series is co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, with Aryan also contributing as a writer alongside them.

At the event, Shah Rukh Khan shared insights about the series, revealing that several well-known celebrities have contributed to the project. Expressing his gratitude, he remarked, "I want to thank the actors who agreed to be part of this show. I didn't approach them personally, but they joined out of love for Aryan. I can't reveal their names just yet, as Aryan has strictly asked me to stay silent about the details."

"For now, they've only decided to showcase me. Gauri and Aryan insisted I shoot the title reveal video. I truly appreciate my colleagues; they've done an incredible job. I had the opportunity to watch a few episodes, and they were absolutely hilarious," SRK concluded.

The official synopsis of the upcoming Netflix series teases an intriguing look beyond Bollywood's dazzling facade. Netflix describes "The Ba*ds of Bollywood" as a deep dive into the high-stakes world behind the glamour of the film industry. With Aryan Khan's unique vision, the series explores the chaos, ambition, and humour that define Bollywood.

A collaboration between Red Chillies Entertainment and Netflix, the project promises a bold and compelling story.
