Arif Hossain Khan, new spokesperson of Bangladesh Bank
Mohammad Shahriar Siddiqui and Saida Khanam will continue to serve as assistant spokespersons
Bangladesh Bank has nominated its executive director, Arif Hossain Khan, as the central bank's new spokesperson with effect from today.
Khan replaces Husne Ara Shikha, according to an official order issued by the banking regulator.

Additionally, Mohammad Shahriar Siddiqui, director of the Banking Regulation and Policy Department, and Saida Khanam, director of the Communications and Publications Department, will continue serving as assistant spokespersons.
Arif Hossain Khan joined Bangladesh Bank as an assistant director in 1996.
