This Valentine's Day, "Next Door Neighbour", a playful and heartwarming love story, is set to premiere on Bongo. Marking the directorial debut of Mahmuda Sultana Reema, the drama stars Aisha Khan as Bipasha and Partho Sheikh as Adnan. 

The story follows Adnan, a carefree and somewhat irresponsible bachelor, who forms a close friendship with his neighbour, Bipasha. When the recently divorced Bipasha asks him to pretend to be her husband in front of her parents, their emotions and the complexities of their relationship come to the forefront. Will they find a resolution?

Reflecting on the project, Partho Sheikh remarked in a press statement, "Before anything else, I have to acknowledge Reema apu and Rabi bhai for crafting such a well-written script. From our initial script readings to the final shoot, every member of the team was committed to bringing this story to life. We sincerely hope the audience enjoys our work as much as we enjoyed making it."

Aisha Khan shared her enthusiasm for the project, stating that from the moment she learned about the story, she knew she wanted to be a part of it. "Filming this drama has been an incredibly fulfilling experience," the actress shared. 

"Kicking off the year with such a fantastic project and a wonderful team has been truly special. I'm deeply grateful to my director, my co-actor, the DOP, the costume team, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this production a reality," she concluded.

Director Mahmuda Sultana Reema also expressed her gratitude, stating, "This project wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and hard work of everyone involved. I'm especially thankful to the Bongo team for their support. We set out to create something fresh and meaningful, and now, we can only hope the audience embraces it. Afzal Hossain and Mou pair up again

"Next Door Neighbour", with a runtime of 45 minutes, was penned by Tanvir Gazi, while the screenplay was a collaborative effort between director Mahmuda Sultana Reema and Rabi Ahmed. Executive producer Farhana Bulbul Kankhita oversaw the project.
