Dhaka stocks decline at market opening

The Dhaka Stock Exchange started the day with a decline, as the benchmark index of the premier bourse fell by 0.09 percent to 5,215.61 points as of 11:52 am.

So far, shares worth Tk 151.4 crore have changed hands, with prices of 109 stocks advancing, 179 declining, and 101 remaining unchanged.

National Tea Company Ltd is leading the turnover chart with a 9.97 percent price increase, followed by Indo-Bangla Pharmaceuticals Limited, which has gained 9.52 percent.
