Yesterday, social media flooded with news as two celebrity couples announced their marriages online. Among them was TV actor and content creator, Shamim Hasan Sarkar.

Known for frequently sharing photos of himself dressed as a groom, the "Double Pera" star initially left fans wondering if the news was genuine.

However, it was later confirmed that Shamim tied the knot on Friday at his residence in Mirpur.

Posting photos from the ceremony on Facebook, he wrote, "Alhamdulillah, I am married. Please keep us in your prayers."

His bride, Afsana Akter Prity, is currently pursuing her studies at a university. The couple got to know each other a few months ago, and their wedding took place in an intimate family setting.
