Miracle saves Ed Joyce, once

It's not every day unbelievable incidents are witnessed, but today is not that day.

Today, it was Ed Joyce's heap of luck as one might call it, as he survived a clean bowl just because the bails on the stumps chose to remain in place.

Joyce was batting early in his innings at Brisbane where his team was playing United Arab Emirates in the 16th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

Instead of being bowled off Amjad Javed, he survived miraculously as the ball flicked the stumps to knock the bails in the air and back in place.

Amjad Javed was celebrating for a brief moment there, later stunned by the anecdote. Even the umpire seemed unsure of what had happened.

However, the damage wasn't much since Ed Joyce was out soon at 37.
