Huawei opens registration for Seeds for the Future Bangladesh 2025

Huawei has officially announced the registration opening for the 2025 edition of 'Seeds for the Future', the company's flagship ICT talent development initiative, at a launching event held at the Huawei Bangladesh Academy on April, 19.

According to Huawei, the programme offers students the chance to take part in a competitive selection process involving CV screening, interviews, training sessions, and a final boot camp. The top eight candidates from Bangladesh will be selected to participate in Huawei's Tech4Good global competition and training programme in China.

The launch event was attended by government and academic representatives, including Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology, and Shish Haider Chowdhury, Secretary of the ICT Division. Senior figures from Huawei and several university officials were also present.

Since its introduction in Bangladesh in 2014, the programme has provided hands-on experience and international exposure to university students through advanced training in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and digital infrastructure. Globally, Seeds for the Future has reached over 18,000 students across 141 countries, according to a press release.

According to Huawei, applicants for the 2025 programme must be third or fourth year undergraduate students with a minimum CGPA of 3.30 and interested candidates are encouraged to submit their curriculum vitae, photograph, and a statement of interest in the technology sector by 10 May 2025.
