Habib Wahid to take the stage in his hometown after 15 years
Renowned singer, composer, and music director Habib Wahid is set to perform in his ancestral home of Munshiganj after 15 years. The open-air concert will take place this Friday at Bot-tola field in Srinagar, organised by local youth.
The concert will feature several artistes, with Habib Wahid and Khurshid Alam as headliners. Veteran actor Omar Sani is also expected to make an appearance. Adding to the excitement, Habib's father, legendary singer Ferdous Wahid, will perform alongside him.

Speaking about the event, Habib told local media, "I'm usually caught up with recordings and stage shows, so I rarely get a chance to visit my hometown. After 15 years, I'm finally going back to perform in Munshiganj. It feels great to sing for my own people."
He added, "Singing with my father is always special. I'll try to perform my audience's favourite tracks and hope to give everyone a memorable evening."
Habib recently worked on several original songs, which are scheduled for release soon. He will also appear on an upcoming Channel i television programme hosted by Ferdous Wahid.
