Bangladesh allrounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who had to sit out the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle owing to fever, is available for selection for the second and final Test in Colombo after recovering.

"Yes, Miraz has recovered from fever," Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selector Abdur Razzak told The Daily Star today.

In the coming days, it remains to be seen whether he comes through and plays the second Test in Colombo starting on June 25.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh have been sweating over the fitness of pacers Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, and Mustafizur Rahman ahead of the white-ball series against the Lankans. The Tigers are set to name the squad for the following three-match ODI series, beginning on July 2, in a press conference tomorrow morning. The ODI outfit is currently in Chattogram to hold camp and play two practice matches.

Razzak informed that all three pacers are set to play the practice match on Monday.

"Yes, they will play and are available for selection," Razzak informed.

Bangladesh will also play a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, from July 10-16.
