Fire at Sena Kalyan Bhaban in Motijheel under control

A fire that broke out at the Sena Kalyan Bhaban in Dhaka's Motijheel area last night was brought under control after nearly two hours.

Five fire engines went to the spot and brought the blaze under control by 12:30am today, said Shahjahan Hossain, duty officer of control room at the Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.

The fire was reported around 10:40pm.

He said they learned that the fire broke out at the 20th floor of the 21-storeyed building. 

The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.

No casualties were reported in the fire.
