NRBC Bank arranges town hall meeting in Rajshahi

NRBC Bank PLC has recently organised a "Town Hall Meeting 2025" at a hotel in Rajshahi.
Md Ali Hossain Pradhania, chairman of the bank, attended the event as the chief guest, according to a press release.
In his address, Pradhania emphasised that there is no alternative to good governance in banking operations.
He underscored the importance of strict compliance with rules and regulations across all areas of activity.
To that end, he highlighted the need to maintain loan quality, recover classified and written-off loans, and mobilise no-interest and low-interest deposits.
Md Touhidul Alam Khan, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, presided over the meeting.
"We are committed to delivering the highest quality banking services to our customers. This region is home to a vibrant community of micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs. Through our branches and sub-branches, we aim to offer comprehensive support to the MSME sector to foster its growth," Khan stated.
The meeting featured discussions on a range of key issues, including the bank's ongoing operations, business targets, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, customer service, expansion of technology-driven services, financial inclusion of marginalised communities, and employee capacity building.
Harunur Rashid, deputy managing director and chief financial officer, Ashim Kumar, head of the Rajshahi zone, as well as all branch managers, area in-charges, sub-branch in-charges, and other officials of the bank, were also present.
