We can manage with 48hr time: Noman on BNP council
BNP Vice-Chairman Abdullah Al Noman today said his party can arrange its council on March 19 if the authorities give permission 48 hours ahead of the date.
The party has sought permission to hold its sixth national council in three venues: Suhrawardy Udyan, Engineers’ Institute and the Bangabandhu Internatiaonal Conference Centre.
“We are yet to receive any permission,” Noman said while addressing a programme organized by Jatiyatabadi Nagarik Dal at National Press Club today.
The party is busy full swing with preparations for its council. Recently, they have amended their constitution to put the chair of senior vice-chairman, currently held by Tarique Rahman, to vote at the council election.
