Hindu temple vandalised in Panchagarh

A temple belonging to the Hindu religious community was vandalised in Atoari upazila of Panchagarh, locals found out early today.

A dome of the Sri Sri Hari Temple at Molani village was damaged, our Thakurgaon correspondent reports quoting the temple management committee.

Ratan Bilas Barman, president of local puja committee and a resident adjacent to the temple, said he heard sounds and came out to see what happened around 12:30am.

"I found one of the small dome of the temple lying on the ground," he said.

"We are looking into the matter, Shah Alam, officer-in-charge of Atoari Police Station, said.
