Protestor held near Khaleda’s office
Police picked up a protestor demanding return of BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed in front of Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office in Dhaka this afternoon.
Suman, 35, made a collage with newspaper cuttings regarding the missing joint secretary general of BNP and was standing near the office with it around 11:30am.
The law enforcers detained him around 1:00pm, said Sayrul Kabir Khan, a press wing staff of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
However, political identity is yet to be confirmed by both police and BNP.
According to Salahuddin's family, some plainclothes men showed identity cards of the Detective Branch of police and picked him up from a house in the capital's Uttara on March 10. However, the law enforcement agencies deny the allegation.
