Nayeem and Nadia in Labonno

Nayeem and Nadia Afreen will be seen as Amit and Labonno in telefilm “Labonno”.

The telefilm is directed and adapted by Barua Pronojit Imon from Rabindranath Tagore's classic novel “Shesher Kobita”. 

“I read the novel and it was my dream to play Amit.  I have tried my best to play the character well and I hope the audience will be appreciative,”  said Nayeem.

“It is my first project with Nayeem bhai, and that too in a Tagore adaptation. I am new to acting, so I learned a lot from my co-star and the director.”  

Wasek has played Shobhon in the telefilm. “Labonno” will air today at 2:40pm on Channel i.
