‘Hijacked car’ driver found dead from Turag

The body of a chauffeur who went missing after the hijacking of a private car from Mirpur area in Dhaka was recovered today from the Turag River in Tongi.

Detective Branch of police (DB) claimed to have detained two robbers including a woman in this connection and recovered the "hijacked" Pajero Jeep from their possession.

Further details will be disclosed in a press conference at the media centre of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) around 11:30am, said a text massage floated by the DB today.
