2 injured in TSC blasts, bus torched at Shahbagh
At least two people were injured as miscreants hurled crude bombs at TSC on Dhaka University campus this evening.
The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital immediately.
Rehana Akhter, 30, and Sabbir, a student of Daffodil University, suffered splinter injuries in their legs, a source at DMCH said.
Injured Rehana told The Daily Star over phone that the crude bombs went off around 7:30pm.
Meanwhile, unidentified miscreants torched a bus at Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka this evening on the second day of the 72-hour countrywide hartal enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance.
The incident took place around 7:15pm.
On information, three units of firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the blaze, an official at the Fire Service and Civil Defiance headquarters told The Daily Star.
