Save the Baby by Hectech Labs
Platform: Android
Flappy Bird was a broken game. The insanely challenging difficulty made it just the tool for establishing bragging rights. Similarly, Hectech Labs' Save the Baby involves you using just one control key to move a baby horizontally across a construction beam going up. Your job is to avoid the falling bricks and catch as many milk bottles as possible. Even though a baby on a beam, falling bricks coupled with milk bottles are all outlandishly dangerous and improbable even for Bangladeshi standards, the game meshes it quite well. Save the Baby feels hilariously wrong but it still manages to stay fun. Featuring a really catchy chiptune loop, the background music just adds to the game's quirkiness. If you thought that's where it all ended, you're wrong. Remember the milk bottles you were supposed to collect? You use those milk bottles to buy different babies to play with. Yes, you buy different babies to play with.
One problem I had with the game was that the red of the bricks and the red of the beams kinda blended in and made it difficult to spot them at times even if they were of different hues. Maybe the developers could address the issues by having different colour themes.
All in all, Save the Baby can be a fun game on your phone for wasting some time.
