Amitabh Reza to bring “Ayanabaji” on big screen
“Ayanabaji”, the first film by Amitabh Reza, was officially announced on March 29 at a press conference at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital.
Director Amitabh Reza, producers Ziauddin Adil and Gausul Alam Shaon, actor Chanchal Chowdhury and other prominent media persons were present at the press meet.
The plot of the film revolves around a small town. Nobody hears of the town anymore nor is it shown in cinemas and TV plays -- “Ayanabaji” is the story of such a town.
Ayna lives alone in the town and runs a theatre group with small children. One day he steps outside his boundary to earn his livelihood.
He learns that he has to be someone else to earn a livelihood. Gradually the protagonist gets entrapped in the city but fails.
The film casts Chanchal Chowdhury, Lutfur Rahman George, Hira Chowdhury, Shawkat Osman, Gousul Alam Shaon and others.
The screenplay is written by Onam Biswas and Gousul Alam Shaon based on the script and idea by Gousul Alam Shaon.
