Bhola Theatre stage Hing-Ting-Chot

Bhola Theatre, a leading theatre group of the district, staged their 16th production "Hing-Ting-Chot" in Kobi Mojammel Hoque Town Hall of Bhola on March 26.

The play was part of Bhola district administration's  programme celebrating the country's 45th Independence and National day. 

Talha Talukder Badhan, secretary of Bhola Theatre said that the play was a protest by theatre activists against the recent unrest created by nefarious elements in the country. 

Atanu Karanjai, playwright and director of "Hing-Ting-Chot" said that he was influenced by the form of 'Comedia del Arte' which satires the fashionable elite, in this case media persons.

District unit Bangladesh Shishu Academy and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy also performed cultural programmes.
