Illegal kitchen market at Purba Razabazar (video)

The road of Purba Rajabazar beside IBA Hostel in Dhaka. Hundreds of people are using this road everyday facing problems regularly. Of which, floating kitchen market vendors are the main cause of people’s sufferings. It becomes their habit to sit there defying repeated removal by authorities.

This illegal market is the reason of traffic jam and disruption of people’s movement. Things get worst in rainy season every year.
In the busiest hours, people, vehicle and the illegal vendors create severe congestion on the road.

However, there is an established kitchen market near the mosque at Purba Rajabazar that does not hamper the traffic movement.

And the adjacent footpath beside IBA Hostel is also under illegal vendors’ possession.
