Ctg BCL activist killed in infighting

An activist of Jubo League, youth front of ruling Awami League, was killed in what police say infighting at Chittagong city last night.

Deceased, Abdul Jahed, 45, was killed by rivals, our Chittagong correspondent reports quoting Mainul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shadarghat police station.

The rival group went to Jahed’s house in Kamal Gate area and shot him around 12:30am, Mainul said. “The killing was motivated from establishing supremacy.”

One Mujib, was arrested this morning in this regard, OC Mainul Islam said.
