18th Convocation ceremony of NSU

The 18th Convocation ceremony of North South University was held at its own campus in Bashundhara on May 2, 2015. Nurul Islam Nahid, M.P., Minister of Education presided over the ceremony and conferred degrees to 2034 graduates. Prof. Randy L Beutler, President, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, delivered the Convocation Speech. 

The Valedictorian, Muneera Chowdhury, including 9 other gold medalists from the undergraduate and graduate programs were awarded Chancellor's and Vice Chancellor's Gold Medals. Graduating students, teachers, members of the BOT and other dignitaries took part in the convocation procession.

Prof. Dr. A K Azad Chowdhury, UGC Chairman (State Minister) joined the degree awarding session as the special guest. Benajir Ahmed, BOT Chairman; Prof. Amin Sarkar, Ph.D., VC, NSU delivered speeches. Secretary, Diplomats, Head of International Organisations and university Vice Chancellors from home and abroad were present in this auspicious ceremony this time.
