Tk 97000cr ADP okayed for FY 16

The government has approved Tk 97, 000 crore for Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the upcoming fiscal year.

The proposed outlay is 29.33 percent higher than the revised figure worth Tk 75,000 crore for the current fiscal year.

In addition, the government has allocated Tk 4,000 crore for the autonomous institutions.

The approval came when Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal placed the proposal at National Economic Council (NEC) meeting held at its auditorium in the capital's Agargaon area.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.
