FIR registered against Sunny Leone
Sultry actress Sunny Leone finds herself in trouble. The Ek Paheli Leela actress seems to have offended a social activist from Dombivali who has filed an FIR against her, reports The Times of India.
The offence was registered based on a complaint by one Anjali Palan, 30, a housewife who stated that while surfing the internet she found several obscene posts and pictures of the actress.
She also found "objectionable" material on the actor's website.
"Such posts poison the minds of people and especially children," she said in her complaint.
The FIR was filed against Sunny and some other unidentified persons for allegedly uploading obscene videos of the actress on the website, thus promoting obscenity in Indian society and damaging it, the complainant alleged.
According to a police release today, the offence was registered last night against the 34-year-old actor under sections 292, 292 A, 294 r/w 34 of the IPC besides being charged under Section 3 and 4 of Indian Representation of Women and IT Act.
The Dombivali police has transferred the case to the Cyber Crime cell of Thane police for further probe, the release said.
The former adult movie star was in the city couple of weeks back to promote her recent movie Ek Paheli Leela.
