Talk of the town Pori Moni

It doesn't take a fortune teller to predict that Pori Moni is heading towards massive stardom. None of her films have been released yet and she is already the talk of the town. She has already acted in a dozen films with various different stars, all of which are still pending release. To add icing to her credentials, she has also acted in a movie with Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan in the film "Dhumketu". Soon after filming, she got signed to work with Shakib Khan again in another film by Wajed Ali Shumon called "Juboraaj".  Also, her debut film, "Pagol Diwana" will be released this April.

SOHANA'S sixth outing

Sohana Saba will star in the upcoming film by Murad Parvez called "Dour".  Filming for the movie begins this March. This film will mark her 6th film to date since she began working for the industry. That's impressive in its own right, but for this new film, she really is venturing to new territories. She will not only be starring in the film but she is also its executive producer. We all hope this film turns out great and her success streak keeps going.

RIAZ returns

Riaz is coming back to the silver screen with a new film by Wajed Ali Shumon called "Sweetheart". Starring opposite him will be the beautiful Bidha Sinha Mim. Shooting for the film has already begun and last we heard, he was shooting for the film in Bangkok. Most of the shooting that will take place there will be for the songs that will feature in the movie. This marks his first film after his long hiatus from the film world. When asked about it, he said that the film scenario wasn't really very ideal for a while, so he took his leave. Now that things have improved, he has rejoined the film industry and hopefully this will end the current shortage of heroes in the film industry.

MICHAEL KEATON in Talks To Join 'Kong: Skull Island'

Universal Pictures will release the King Kong-inspired film in 3D and IMAX 3D on March 10, 2017. Kong: Skull Island promises to fully immerse audiences in the mysterious and dangerous home of the iconic ape as a team of explorers ventures deep inside the treacherous, primordial island. Keaton is receiving strong awards-season buzz for his turn as a washed-up actor tormented by his superhero alter ego/nemesis in Alejandro Gonzales Inarittu's Birdman.

SALMA HAYEK  Gets Sexy, Badass and Trigger Happy In Everly

If you ever wondered what a film starring Salma Hayek, playing a sexy assassin holed up in her apartment while a grueling gauntlet of gangsters and other assorted ne'er-do-wells burst their way in, shooting up the place, well, then first off, congratulations for having such a specific vision. Secondly, it seems that your eccentric curiosity is about to be sated, because the new trailer for Salma Hayek's new film, Everly is basically everything that was just described. Making its explosive debut, Everly depicts the venerable vixen, Hayek getting back to her ass-kicking action roots in a completely original setting. It's like a deliciously demented amalgam of Home Alone and the Kill Bill series. At 48 years old, Hayek has never been hotter. Everly has been released in the US this week.

COMEDY 'BENCHED' will not return for 2nd Season

USA Network's comedy series Benched will not be coming back for a second season. The courtroom comedy starring Eliza Coupe and Jay Harrington had a quiet run, which concluded December 30. When USA scaled back its original comedy series portfolio, the network stressed its commitment to its current series — Sirens, Playing House and Benched. Sirens and Playing House have been renewed for a second season. Meanwhile, Benched, which received OK reviews, has not been getting a lift in delayed viewing, contributing to the network's decision not to go forward with a second season.

Katrina to be romanced by Rahul Bhatt in Fitoor

Sometimes one film can open many doors for an actor. This is exactly what can be said about Rahul Bhatt—the actor, who first rose to fame with hit television series titled 'Heena' opposite Simone Singh. The actor, who later did a few roles here and there, finally got his big break with Anurag Kashyap's 'Ugly'. It is this film which got him notice and appreciation. And not just this—the latest that has been reported about the actor is that, he will be seen in 'Fitoor' opposite none other than Katrina Kaif. Rahul will be seen romancing Katrina in a film which has been inspired by Charles Dickens' The Great Expectations and is set in the backdrop of Kashmir Valley.
